ABSTRACT Objective: The aim of this study was to compare three teaching methods’ time and personnel requirements, their effects on plaque gingival indices. Methods: This a single-blind randomized controlled trial fixed orthodontic appliance candidates (n = 90), assigned into control group 30) two different groups 30 each). received standard printed educational material assisted with verbal information. either video-assisted or hands-on training about oral hygiene. requirements for all interventions recorded during the initial visit. adequacy hygiene documented through indices visit eighth week treatment. continuous variables were analyzed using 1-way ANOVA.
